My zombie apocalypse survival team

I’ve asked this on a number of occasions and places. Finally, I ask (and answer) the question here in the Jackverse. What would your zombie apocalypse survival team look like? The zpoc will require special survival skills that standard-issue life doesn’t require. And, like any good dungeons and dragons aficionado will tell you, a group must have a strong balance (and a lot of caffeine) to survive. So, without further adieu, I give to you, my devoted followers, my zombie apocalypse survival team.

I’ve opted to go with a combination of fictional and real people — just to make it fun and entertaining. I’m going to apply a limit of five team members (not including myself). Are you ready? Let’s kick this question in the nards.

1 Bruce lee (Fighter). I don’t care what anyone says, when it comes to fighting, it doesn’t get any faster or badder than Lee. Not only that, but even if a zombie were to get close enough to wrap its cold, undead fingers around Bruce’s head, he’d six-inch punch them into oblivion.

2 Sheldon Cooper (Brains). Since Stephen Hawking would be at a major disadvantage, the next best thing is good ol’ Moon Pie. I realize trudging through the apocalypse might become a bit trying with the truest of true know-it-alls on the planet, but having that repository of knowledge would go a long, long, long, long way to help you to survive. Bazinga!

3. Erik Northaman (Healer). I know, I know…having a vampire along for the apocalyptic ride might seem counter-intuitive, but his ability to not only heal but the bonus of his strength and ability to attract women (and men) would be a bonus. Plus, when you finally do reach the Zero Day Collective, Northman could glammer them and the Mengele virus would be no more.

4. Kaylee Frye (mechanic). I have my reasons. Firefly…need I say more?

5. Jonny Lee Miller’s Sherlock (tracker/sleuth). I can already hear the multitude of people groaning and complaining that I didn’t choose Cumberbatch. Well, I just find Miller’s Sherlock to be a bit more adept at, well, more. Plus, Miller’s Sherlock is kept honest with his publicly known addition. Plus, I do have a man-crush on Jonny Lee Miller.
