It’s that time again! My inbox is flooded daily with questions regarding the first book in my “I Zombie” trilogy. So I figured it was time for yet another zombie update.
The good news is this: I have but only twenty pages left to re-write and then the book is off the editor. After she works her flavor of magic on the book, it will return to me, where I will take another swing. Upon my accepting and rejecting of the editors changes, I will send it back for one final pass by a second editor. Once the secondary edit is complete, the book will come back to me and I will check the formatting and publish.
Now the original publish date for I Zombie I was May 25th. That date, I suspect, will be moved up to near the last week of April or the first week of May.
The re-writes of the book have gone very well. What this re-write has done is to make this book better fit with the whole of the trilogy.
I am very excited about the upcoming release of “I Zombie I”. The book has been a joy to work on and I whole-heatedly believe you will find it a joy to read.
Okay, maybe that’s a stretch to think a piece of Apocalyptic fiction would be a “joy” to read. But you will enjoy reading it. You will feel the awesome ooze from the digital pages into your brain, infecting you with awesomae in absolutia.
