Dr. Phibes was such a great movie. I remember getting creeped out by that as a kid. I should watch that again to see if has the same effect. ;-)

My wife Lisa (Marcum) says you might be thinking of Sears or Hills.
Sammy Terry made her smile, she used to watch him with her grandmother. I suggested that we could watch some of those old B-Horror movies and she suddenly turned very pale, screamed "No! Get away from me!" and ran from the room. Later I found her huddled in a corner muttering something about a Dr. Phibes. I hope she recovers, or the Zombie King may have claimed another victim.

I remember Sammy Terry! But frankly, just judging from your picture and not knowing anything about you, I can't believe you are old enough to remember him yourself. Either that, or Sammy Terry has had a 40-year career at it....

Thanks for sharing, Jack. I grew up in a rural area of Iowa, lots of space to imagine! I remember my mother putting her watch on my upper arm and telling me to be home by 4pm. Off I would go with a peanut butter and jelly and a mason jar of water for my day of adventure. Usually ended up at a creek, where I hung a rope swing, played with tadpoles and created enviorments out of all the sticks, rocks, moss and mud freely available. Later , I had a horse named Lady Jane, whom I rode and shared more adventures farther from home!! And Corn!!!!! Yes, we had plenty of that! So as an adult I've kept that spirit of adventure, thankfully. I've lived in two other countries and explored several more. Thanks, again, Jack, for helping me remember my wonderful life.
