Book Narration

Jack Wallen has over twenty years experience as a professional actor. His resume ranges from Broadway, to regional theatres, to Shakespeare festivals across the country. As a narrator, he worked extensively with the Publishing house for the blind and eventually decided it was time to make it on his own.

Within the walls and curtains of the Adorkable Studio, Jack keeps the company of his mic and a host of characters. From the smooth sounds of standard voicing to oddball characters, Jack can cover a very wide assortment.

If you’re interested in having Jack Wallen narrate your book, please contact him via email. You can check out his ACX profile where you can request he submit an audition for your book. A Tale Of Two Reapers

The job of reaping is a lonely one. Why? There has only ever been one Reaper. Grim has spent centuries ensuring the souls of the dying are made available for reuse. But when he mistakenly reaps X, a woman whose soul was very much alive, his eternity is flipped on its head.

Fate has given Grim a very short time to train his new partner in the ways of Reaping. Should he fail, his eternal life is forfeit. Unfortunately, even the best laid plans go astray…especially when X unleashes a malicious soul that threatens to undo the fabric of reality.

And ruin a completely good eternity.

Suicide Station

Death is not the end of love.

The world of standup comedy was too much for Foster Donovan. Leaving a note behind for his wife, he wrapped a noose around his neck and changed his life by embracing death. Turns out, the afterlife was nothing like he’d expected. Stations await those who’ve passed on. Who you were in life determines your “Forever Station”.

Those who’ve taken their own lives will find themselves temporary residents of Suicide Station, where they receive counseling, friendship, and (for Foster) the prospect of love. Candy. The very embodiment of beauty and grace has eyes for our accidental hero. Unfortunately, for Foster, the tether to his old life begs him to return. When he does manage to slip the bonds of death, Foster Donovan discovers a very different punch line.

Suicide Station is a paranormal romance with a twist even the grim reaper wouldn’t see coming.

A Song for Julia – By Charles Sheehan-Miles

A Song for Julia by Charles-Sheehan Miles, narrated by Jack WallenEveryone should have something to rebel against.

Crank Wilson left his South Boston home at sixteen to start a punk band and burn out his rage at the world. Six years later, he’s still at odds with his father, a Boston cop, and doesn’t ever speak to his mother. The only relationship that really matters is with his younger brother, but watching out for Sean can be a full-time job.

The one thing Crank wants in life is to be left the hell alone to write his music and drive his band to success.

Julia Thompson left a secret behind in Beijing that exploded into scandal in Washington, DC, threatening her father’s career and dominating her family’s life. Now, in her senior year at Harvard, she’s haunted by a voice from her past and refuses to ever lose control of her emotions again, especially when it comes to a guy.

When Julia and Crank meet at an anti-war protest in Washington in the fall of 2002, the connection between them is so powerful it threatens to tear everything apart.

This book is narrated by myself and Alana Rader. The primary character I read, Crank Wilson, uses a standard Boston dialect.
